No: Fluoride in the dosage one would normally receive through toothpaste, tap water and other environmental sources has few potential side effects, none of which are anywhere close to the side effects you would experience taking lithium. There is a plethora of scientific evidence of the safety and efficacy of Fluoride use as a public health measure.
