2 Doses: Need 2 doses for best immune protection. Cannot receive it if you have an allergy to gelatin or neomycin, are now pregnant, immune suppressed, on high dose steroids, being treated for cancer, had recent blood products, are are otherwise seriously ill. Chickenpox in adults is a serious disease. If you are a candidate, i recommend you complete your series. If uncertain about immunity, can be tested.

Depends: I'm assuming your not asking for yourself (a 26yo in the school and college system is required to have boosters on certain vaccinations). Otherwise blood serum can be checked for protective levels of varicella antibodies. If low..then boostering can be ordered. Secondly..is it needed? Is the person immunocompromised, very elderly etc.

How can you cure chicken pox i you don't have the vaccine?

Depends: Most chickenpox will self heal over a week or so in kids. There are antiviral medications that can suppress the intensity of the illness if taken early in the illness, but these are not recommended for most natural cases in kids. Adults should receive treatment because of the amplified intensity and complications involved.
