Infection: Fungal infections can occur on the skin (ringworm, some diaper rashes, athlete's foot, others), on nails, in the genitals (yeast infections), in the mouth (thrush), or less commonly internal organs. Different fungi come from different places, they have different symptoms, and are treated different ways. Some require only a cream, some oral medication, and some IV medication.
