Involves many organs: Churg-strauss syndrome is an autoimmune disorder that affects small blood vessels and (by definition) includes asthma that is often difficult to control. It commonly affects the vessels of the skin, kidneys, and nervous system among others. It is treated with steroids and usually a drug called cyclophosphamide.

IT is identified by biospsies of the tissue that show what we call "granulomas" in the blood vessels of certain size. As Dr Arenberg states there are treatment programs for this diagnosis
