Involves many organs: Churg-strauss syndrome is an autoimmune disorder that affects small blood vessels and (by definition) includes asthma that is often difficult to control. It commonly affects the vessels of the skin, kidneys, and nervous system among others. It is treated with steroids and usually a drug called cyclophosphamide.
