1 month: For conventional 3 dose schedule, distance between the first & second dose should be 1-2 months apart & the third dose 6 months after first vaccine of hepatitis b. The vaccine series need not restarted if there has been delay in getting booster dosing. There is an accelerated schedule with intervals: 1st dose, 2nd dose day 7 & third dose on day 21. This schedule requires a 4th dose in one year.
