Too high: Normal blood pressure should be under 120/80. Average BP above 140 systolic or 90 diastolic is harmful to the blood vessels and can cause heart attack, stroke or kidney disease. Best to monitor BP at home using an automatic machine with an upper arm cuff - if average BP done several times a day at least once a week is above 140 or 90 then see a doctor. There are lots of treatments. Good luck!
