I wear a thigh high compression stocking for my 45 day old dvt. my coumadin (warfarin) is at therapeutic levels. can i swim? if so with or without stocking?

Swim without: Swimming will not affect your dvt. Don't need your stocking 24/7. You can certainly take it off in the pool.

Swim / DVT: There is no reason you can't swim while being treated with coumadin (warfarin). You don't need your stockings while in the water.

Swim: definitely just place the stocking on after swimming as the aerobic activity make the veins work harder
