is it normal when you yawn or drink your ears pop? especially when i have sinus pressure my ears pop but more when i yawn.

Yes: Your ears can pop and clear when yawning or drinking fluid. If the tubes which equalize the pressure behind the ear drum are clogged, even a little, this can happen. Also when altitude lowers in a car or plane.
