No harm: Sounds like you need to re-learn signals your body uses to indicate after-meal fullness. I'm assuming you are not describing binge eating (another eating disorder). Pay attention to what if feels like to feel satiated & start reducing the size of your post-dinner snack or cereal intake. Other than unwanted weight gain there is no digestive damage from over-eating (many americans do so every day!).
