i playing ball i broked footdoctor's diagnosis talus avlsiyonfracture.doctor did short leg splints.was 17 days.today he said can walk.is this normal?

Avulsion fracture: Without seeing the xrays this is hard to answer, but it usually takes longer than 17 days to heal form an avulsion fracture. Good luck !

Avulsion fracture: While it takes longer than 17 days to heal....Walking is permitted once the injury is stable & pain is manageable. Fractures do not necessarily need to be fully healed to support walking. This depends entirely on the location & severity of the fracture.
