Adrenal glands: Your doctor or endocrinologist must examine you carefully and determine the underlying cause. This requires some blood tests and maybe more exams by ultrasound or ct. It is usually more involved than a short visit and a pill, so be prepared.

Complicated: There ar many factors to be considered. First, a solid diagnosis. You need specific tests to confirm or rule this out. Next, if you do have excess hormone, the source must be determined: pituitary tumor, adrenal tumor, or ectopic production. Next, there are several medications used temporarily but, ultimately, the treatment is surgical. Is your doctor an endocrinologist?
