Depends: If you look at any multivitamin bottle, there will be a rda (recommended daily allowance) for the different components. There is very little evidence out there that surpassing rda will treat or prevent any disease. From my field (ophthalmology), people who have moderate to severe macular degeneration can benefit from higher levels of a, c, e, and zinc, but the benefit is relatively small.
