We don't know: The honest answer is that we truly don't know. Much of what you hear is media driven or marketing that makes things sound like the holy grail, but it is far from that. In concept, stem cells are important because they can make any tisse. So in theory we can use them to make new cartilage, etc. We are far from that, but there are certain trials that you can enroll in to help out.
