Paraplegic: A 'paraplegic' can have a spinal cord injury e.g. Due to spinal cord infarct (like a stroke of the spinal cord) or perhaps the formation of a syrinx (fluid collection inside the cord putting pressure from the inside). Also herniated discs can cause it, but these situations are rare... What symptoms does the patient have?
