Best lifestyle: One way to increase Dopamine is to exercise, especially a graded, but gentle weight lifting program. If you are asking about stimulants that can be prescribed, i would not endorse that. Taking the precursor tyrosine (an Amino Acid from diet) does not generally improve because of issues getting into brain. Some natural things like rhodiola rosea are thought to help.

Naturally means?: Do you mean WITHOUT use of typical pharmacological agents which are prescribed in the U.S. and elsewhere? Tyrosine is an amino acid which is a building block for dopamine. When taken in greater quantities than we get from ingestion dopamine levels will rise in the brain. However, at such necessarily high levels, significant side effects can occur. Needs to be monitored closely by physician.

Dopamine production: There is no proven way to increase dopamine. Ingested Dopamine is broken down in the stomach and small intesting (unless combined with a special medication...Carbidopa, for example in the medicine given to Parkinson's patients carbidopa/levodopa). It can be given intravenously, which is done sometimes to help increase blood pressure. See also: http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/dopamine.

What's the most effective way to increase dopamine activity in the brain?

Chemically or natura: Thrilling behavior, ie. Skydiving, will do it. Gambling will for some, unfortunately do it. Risky, edgy behaviour does it. /c/hemically, drugs to treat parkinson's will increase central dopamine, as will buproprion-a stimulating anti-depressant. Other drugs that treat high prolactins will do it as well, although some treat parkinson's.
