Tricky: No great answer for this - perhaps an eyelash curler or a clear mascara product to move the lashes up and away from eyes.

A 32-year-old member asked:
If you shine a bright light in your eye will your vision go small?

Dr. John Gillespie answered

Pupil size: Bright light in the eyes does indeed cause your vision via the pupil to get smaller. Less light coming through the smaller pupil is usually the normal natural response to keep from overwhelming the retina. The peripheral field of vision is constricted with this respose and the central macula, needing the brighter level of light is in control.

Does doing eye exercises have any effect on long term vision?

Maybe u can: Depending what type of disease/trouble you have..If it mostly control issues, certain exercises may help by improving eye movement control, eye focusing and coordination, and the teamwork of the two eyes. Refractive (how eyes reflect light) problems cannot be improved with exercises. I would check with your eye doc for an eval and be given appropriate therapy for you. Good luck.
