We are told to eat fresh veggies and fruits to be healthy. but it's well known that monsanto controls the food and uses chemicals. is that healthy?

Not all foods: While monsanto may have a hand in many agricultural products, they don't control everything. If you are concerned about chemicals then buy your produce from a local organic farm. In any case eating fresh fruits and vegetables, even those "controlled" by monsanto, is healthier then eating processed foods.
