Many possibilities: Hair loss is a tough one to talk about n such a short venue. There are many possibilities so i would recommend you see a dermatologist to take a good history and exam. Causes can range from benign to a sign of systemic disease. That was not meant to scare you but that it is a challenge to cover such a topic in this short space.

Some common causes.: I will just mention a few common causes of hair loss . Stress, hair color, hair treatments such as perms and other harsh chemicals often used for hair styling. Often times thinning of the hair runs in families. You should also consider checking your thyroid and any other medications you are taking , since sometimes meds can cause hair loss also. Hope that was helpful.
