Not headaches: Headaches independently would not lead to coma. However, headaches secondary to an underlying mass or destructive process could conceivably be part of a process with more serious consequences.

Unlikely: The. Headache and shooting pains you describe could be migraines , muscle / nerve ha or some thing more. Topamax (topiramate) can help. You may need to see a neurologist or get an mri.
