Time: Acute otitis media is most often a bacterial or viral infection that affects the middle ear, ear infections frequently painful because of inflammation/buildup of fluids in the middle ear.Ear infection usually responds to antibiotics with reduction of pain but follow-up medical care recommended for resolution and avoiding complications such hearing deficit, meningitis, etc..Dizziness can occur.
