A 41-year-old male asked:

hi, 41 year old male, type 1 diabetic. my mean cell volume is a bit low at 76.5, iron level 18.8, serum ferritin 191, transferrin level 2.19 and transferrin saturation 38) is it anything to worry about and how can i raise the mcv? thank you?

You did not send normal values for your lab. Consider a normal variation of between testing results of 10%. So if 76.5 + 76.5x0.1 = 84 is not below lower limit of normal then prob no worries. The causes of low MCV are hundreds. Discuss with your team.

Circular muscle: The lining of the vagina(epithelium) is surrounded by circular muscle that can contract around objects and a potential space that can expand as well. Expansion projects include childbirth, sex and tampon placement.
