A 36-year-old female asked:

Had a uti 3 wks ago.was told urinalysis are clear since then.told have mild hydronephrosis in right kidney.i've been nauseous w/ back & rib pain for 3 weeks. now leg pain tingling.saw urologist yesterday told blood in urine.now cystoscopy. i'm scared?

Hydronephrosis: I assume you've had an ultrasound of the kidneys which demonstrated the hydronephrosis. This suggests some blockage in the draining system of that kidney(?stone). You should be in good hands with a urologist. Back pain could be caused by right kidney inflammation but tingling of the leg is more characteristic of a neurologic problem like a bulging disc which can also cause back pain.
