Hi doctors. i had a colonoscopy which only showed internal hemorrhoids and diverticulosis. my dr. said that i am good for five years..i get occasional bit of blood in anus, not on stool, is this hemorrhoid? can i assume? could it still be serious?

.: It can be any of the two conditions already diagnosed on colonoscopy but you cannot rule out the possibility of yet another pathology. If the symptoms are not sever or unbearable I would suggest you bring this up when next you visit your doctor
