Are triptans ever prescribed to be taken daily for chronic migraine headaches?

On occasion, BUT: Have some experience in using frovatriptan preventively for menstrually related headaches, but not usually a successful endeavor. Would now use on an as needed basis to abort an acute migraine, not as a preventative. We have far better interventions.
