Frequent urination for 1 yr. consulted local docs, prescribed omnic ocas and spasmex 30mg.. no improvement for past 1 mth. mri enlarged prostate 30cc. t. psa 0.8 ng/ml, free psa 0.4 ng/ml. no diabetes. normal prostate digit exam. 52yr old. non smoker?

Prostate : As you age, the prostate gland can increase in size and cause pressure on the tube leaving from your bladder to the outside. Fortunately your PSA exam appeared to be normal but the function is still a problem. You should discuss the failure of the medications used with your doctor to see if a urologist would need to recommend more aggressive management.
