Hi doctor, i'm experiencing nasal congestion and sneezing, i previously had a throat irritation and a slight cough. i'm also experiencing hot flashes. should i get tested for covid? or continue to trear my symptoms at home?

Maybe just a cold. : Do you have a fever or any exposure to a Covid positive person? I tend to recommend testing for everyone but you should not be too worried with the symptoms you describe. Fever, shortness of breath and loss of smell or taste worry me more. Good luck and stay safe.

Treat symptoms. : A test for CIVID-19 is easy to have. Your symptoms sound like an early upper respiratory infection. I would treat with aspirin, increased fluid, rest, and continue to eat.
