Get to the ER ASAP!: Any degree of chest pain should be immediately evaluated. While it could be an inflammation of your ribs from strain after lifting or mowing the lawn, it could also be a collapsed lung or a blood clot in the lung, which can be deadly. It could also be an atypical presentation of heart disease. In any event, get immediate attention.
