could a male's 9 mo accutane use at age 16 years cause his unborn baby's diagnosis of congenital vsd 10 years later? or other birth defects?

Unrelated: Any sperm that might be affected during use are long gone 9 years later. We have no data suggesting males use of Accutane relates sperm or causes any birth defect. The medication has a direct toxic effect to an embryo if consumed by the mother during pregnancy. Congenital vsd is one of the most common heart related defects & has a broad genetic basis & some recurrence risk.
