A 30-year-old male asked:

I did a pcr rna hiv1 test at 10 days and the results were not detected.after that at 16 days i did a 3rd generation rapid test of negative results.after 30 days i repeat rapid test 3rd generation and results negative.can the results change positive?

Could: To be sure, get a HIV nucleic acid test at 6 months after the exposure. A positive result sooner indicates disease, but a negative test as soon as you have tested does not rule out HIV. Wish you good health!
