My total protein had been climbing so dr ordered a protein electrophoresis. i have a slightly elevated serum kappa of 21.5. all else on test is normal, including normal kappa in urine and normal k/l ratio. possible reason for higher than normal kapp

Do not worry: Serum free light chain assay has a very limited usefulness other than invoking additional unwarranted testing. You asked this question earlier also. Forget your kappa level.
