See doctor ASAP: You should see your doctor and be examined. There could by a nerve pinched in your neck - the constant numbness in your thumb and index finger is of concern. If that is what your examination reveals, your doctor may treat you with a combination of medication and physiotherapy, and if this fails, you may need X-rays and/or specialist referral.
