hi dr, i would like to find out if eating low carb 20-50g healthy carbs per day consequtively for four to five days a week,and eating moderate carb 150-200g for the balance of two to three days, will this aid weight loss and overall health?

Yes: Weight loss is a complete change of lifestyle,including low to moderate carbs. But,over and above that you really need to EXERCISE consistently. 45 min exercises 3 to 4 days a week,will go a long way. Remember,because your lifestyle will change,you need to make sure you have a healthy mind,to go through this.You need to want to loose weight for yourself,not for pressure from others.Go for it!
