about 6 months ago pain started in my wrist. at first it was very mild, now i can't even pick up a couple of pounds or turn a door nob. it's twice the size as my other one iv'e had no injuries. fingers on both hands are stiff and painful, swollen???

Other cause is gout arthritis. Vit D 1000IU/d required. If you have morning stiffness, you need to do bloodtests.Pain worse at night with pins and needles, need to test for carpal tunnel syndrome
