i read an article on cnn today(23/04/20), in which doctors say covid-19 causes strokes in young adults. i'm hypertensive. i'm on exfoge 10/160. should i get infected with covid-19, how worried should i be? what could i do to prevent the stroke?

Keep under control: As long as you keep your bp under control with the medication by preventing the damage in the inner lining or the arteries of the brain and other central nervous system you can prevent a stroke. If there is no damage in the inner lining of the arteries you prevent corona virus attacking them and causing blood clots and stroke. So, first thing you should do try not to get infected and control bp.

COVID 19: I agree with earlier response that the real risk is for someone who has hypertension that is not well controlled.
