Keycare flu vaccine: Hi
Please contact your medical aid to see if meet the qualifying criteria to be covered by a flu vaccine on your plan. Usually Keycare only covers in patients that are high risk, like asthmatics, diabetes, emphysema, cardiac patients etc.
The current flu vaccine does not protect you against COVID19 and will not influence you ability to respond to this infection

Influenza vaccine: An influenza vaccine does not protect against infection by SARS-CoV-2. But it is recommended because a person could have concurrent illnesses. The Flu and COVID 19 can also have a significant overlap of symptoms which could be confusing. Please talk to a Keycare plan representative to see what is covered.
