my thigh has been aching for a week. it's intense burning pain. it gets worse w/ elevation & sitting still. better walking. i went to an uc and the doctor tested for dvt by checking for swelling of my vein. it wasnt dvt. any ideas what it might be?

Tight/crampy/pain calf, inner knee & thigh. Doc examined leg and said she didn't see anything that would suggest DVT. What else could it be? Back of knee was sore when doc examined. Feels worse when sitting for a while. Had it for a few days. Thanks!
