have been on zpack 2x and predisone 4 times within 4 months, had phemonia coughing blood , asthma attacks. current tooth absess cough brown mucus dime size mornings. doctor put me on amoxicillin worried good gut bacteria should take it ?

Some ideas: Amoxicillin is a great antibiotic to target a tooth abscess. Avoiding it makes little sense. If you worry about your gut bacteria go out & get some probiotics to take at the same time. Humans replenish their gut bacteria naturally over time but this would give you an additional level of good gut germ presence quicker.
