57 year old, been having sore throat for about 8 mo. feels like razors. dry cough that has gotten worse and frequent. ear ache and neck pain. smoker for 42 years. should i be concerned?

Time for exam: Symptom duration and worsening are enough red flags. Would suggest starting with your doc for an exam and detailed history and based on findings he or she will decide about further tests and or involving a specialist.
