Can low body weight cause you to get sick often? some people tell me that. i am an elite distance runner 59 and about 118 lbs. ive gotten sick with flu symptoms (fever, headache, chills) 3 times in 3 months! what do you think?

Multiple Flus: It's not so much the number on the scale as it is the strength of your immune system that matters. Please start w/a visit to your doctor. He/she may directo you to a nutritionist. If your immune system is too low you will continue to be at risk for getting sick again and that will be worse than a few pounds either way. Peace and good health.
