I was told i have narrow ear canals, i'm 37 years old and i'm having difficulty hearing. if someone talks to me behind me i can't hear them? am i losing my hearing?

Quite possibly, but: this has nothing to do with narrow ear canals. If you're losing your hearing, it's because of middle-ear problems or (more likely) inner-ear problems. See your GP and get a referral for an audiogram.
