recently i have had a really itchy rectal area. i have just taken a deworming tablet. it is itchiest at night. is there anything i can take or a cream i can use?

Depends: Anal itching can be triggered by food allergies, bacterial or fungal infections in addition to "worms". Anal application of an anti-fungal or hydrocortizone cream may help some. Since a group A strep infection can trigger this in some cases an office evaluation & specific treatment may be needed.
