No: Glucosamine is a building block for cartilage, not bone, therefore is not considered a bone injury supplement.

While it is an interesting theory, oral consumption of glucosamine and chondroitin has not been shown to alter the availability of these cartilage building blocks inside an arthritic joint. It has not been shown that consumption of joint supplements increases the quantity of these cartilage building blocks within any joint.

Not really for bone: Glucosamine is a component of joint cartilage and some studies have shown natural anti-inflammatory effects and lessened joint pains due to this and other supplements. It may even have some healing effects for cartilage injury. Stress injuries to the bone and decreased bone density have more to do with bone mineralization (calcium and phosphate) and wouldn't be affected directly by glucosamine.
