i have a burst vein in my eye that has got worse over the day it is burning and i have a severe headache should i see a doctor?

Conjunctival bleed : You probably have a subconjunctival haemorrage due to excessive rubbing etc. It is normally self-limiting and should subside over a week or two. The headache should clear, but if it persists for more than 3 days or get worse, go see your GP please.
