Would mucoid substance from a myxoid tumor look different on an ultrasound than a bakers or popliteal cyst would look? could the ultrasound tech tell the difference?

Imaging: The ultrasound could tell the difference depending on who interprets the data. However, even with that if you would need surgery it is possible when you get in the area and take direct look the imaging was not perfect. MRI would give better definition and distinction.
