Round ligament pain: The main pregnancy symptom for women around week 17 is round ligament pain, felt in the lower stomach and pelvis as the uterus expands and puts pressure on the nearby ligaments. In order to deal with these pains, try lying on your left side rather than your back in order to most reduce the amount of pressure that your uterus doles out to its surroundings. You may want to pick up a maternity belt.
