Due to family issues over the last week, i have had suicidal thoughts and i self harmed 3 times in the last week, i am getting help but would it be better to admit myself somewhere to speed up the process?

Depression: Please seek medical attention right away. Depression is a life-threatening illness; suicidality is not to be taken lightly. Start with your primary doctor, but the emergency room is also appropriate if feeling unsafe or out of control.
