Viral URI: These symptoms are characteristic of a viral upper respiratory tract infection or head cold. This runs its course in a week or so. Treatment consists of resting, taking in adequate fluids, using decongestant tablets like Sudafed and/or nasal decongestant spray like neosynephrine(as long as there is no pregnancy).
