is there any medical reason one shouldn't have a massage while pregnant or are the warnings myths? i'm 4 weeks pregnant going for a full body massage

May be: Not myths. Vigorous massage can be dangerous to pregnancy. Should avoid massage over abdomen. Also certain essential oils and fragrances should be avoided. Suggest you see someone who is professionally trained in this and check with your obstetrician first. Best wishes
