hi, i have a longish red mark on my back, it itches at times and when i scratch it is sensitive. it's definitely not a mosquito bite as it is not a small round mark. any advice?

Vertical or horizont: If the marks are horizontal and confined to just one side of the back, you may be getting shingles. If it is vertical, the previous recommendation would be sound. In the early stage of shingles, antiviral drug will likely shorten the duration and severity of shingles when taken within the first 2-3 days. Consult your doctor immediately.
