A good orthopedic -: -surgeon could examine your knee, & an ACL tear could be picked up or PCL. IF the plates are not close to the knee, a MRI is the best way to go. If you have femur fractures that were unstable, exams are not able to be done. You should get in in touch with your surgeon & explain your symptoms & get an appointment for re-evaluation.
